Invite a New User

Article summary

You can invite new users to your organisation by clicking the 'Create' button from the User's page.

You will need to provide the following information:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email

You will then need to assign the user roles. These user roles determine the access and permissions assigned to the user.

There are two type of roles:

  1. Group
  2. Organisational

Group Roles

For more information about the purpose of Groups, see Purpose of Groups.

There are four types of group role that can be assigned. These are:

  • Senior Admin
  • Input Only Admin
  • Junior Admin
  • Guest

Senior Admin

A Senior Admin has the ability to create signatories and entities, approve/reject changes, share signatory lists and approve/reject/revoke access to signatory lists.

Input Only Admin

An Input Only Admin has all the abilities of a Senior Admin but without the ability to approve/reject changes. This role is to be used in conjuction with four eyes turned on. Please note that this role with four eyes set to off effectively renders it a Senior Admin role. See Security for more information.

Junior Admin

A Junior Admin has a limited set of abilities to update/share signatory lists and upload signatures.

Guest

A Guest has view only access for entities and signatories.

A user can be assigned different roles per group. For example, a user can be a Senior Admin for the London group, and a Guest for the default group:

Organisational Roles

These roles provide access to the Operational and/or IT Settings within the system do not need to be assigned to a user if not required.

The organisation roles are:

  • IT Admin
  • Operational Admin

IT Admin

An IT Admin has the ability to invite users, manage user permissions, and manage IT Settings.

Operational Admin

An Operational Admin has the ability to create groups, and manage Operational Settings.

After inviting a user, they will receive an email with a link to finish creating their account by setting a password.
