A bank account requires the following information on creation:
- A legal entity
- An external entity
- A currency
- An account number
- An account name
There are a number of other fields that are optional, which are:
- External System ID
- Internal Notes
- IBAN
- Local Code (eg. Sort Code, ABA Routing Number)
- Date Account Opened
- Status
- Account Type
These optional fields can be turned on/off at an organisation level as well as at bank account level. For more information, see Bank Account Field Settings.
Bank accounts can be uploaded using the Import CSV function, and can be downloaded using the Export CSV function.
